Hey there! I'm Nikolette!
Hey! I am a passionate level designer from Brazil! Having started developing games at 11 years old, first as a generalist and then specializing in level design, I have a bit of experience in every area of game development, which helps me understand the needs of other people in the team.
My experiences are range from first and third person shooters to top-down adventure games but I’m always looking for new challenges and learning opportunities, I just love making games!
I am experienced in working with both Unity and Unreal Engine. My knowledge covers 3D modeling of placeholder assets, the usage of level editors to create environments, both for blockout and asset placement for the final art pass, planning and pre-production as well as a basic understanding of blueprints . I am also very capable at learning new tool-sets and methods quickly and efficiently, applying level design fundamentals no matter the technical requierements.
And last but not least: I like frogs!

Epic Games / Level Designer

In Fortnite I collaborated with other level designers to create large open world islands for the game's main mode, Battle Royale, creating layouts that were both fun for casual players as well as balanced for competitive tournaments.

Working on Wonderbox: The Adventure Maker, I helped create the game’s main campaigns as well as official levels meant to display the level editor’s capabilities to players and creators. During my time at the company I also worked on Horizon Chase 2, creating racing tracks for the game’s main mode, World Tour.

I joined at the later stages in the development of Aspire: Inas’s Tale to help polish the existing areas as well as blockout new ones, creating puzzles that make use of the main character's special abilities, allowing them to manipulate objects, changing their position and size or conducting energy through them.

During my time as a freelancer I worked with brands such as Netflix, Gamers Club and MIBR to create custom Counter-Strike: Global Offensive levels to be used in sponsored tournaments.
